CE SAIN Lecture Series on June 14, 2018
June 14, 2018: The Center of Excellence on Sustainable Agricultural Intensification and Nutrition (CE SAIN Cambodia) of Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) facilitated lectures on “Tomato Leaf Curl Virus Disease in Cambodia” Presented by Mrs. Ong Socheat, Deputy Head of Department of Crop Protection, Royal University of Agriculture and also an awardee who received Research Grant from CE SAIN.
Mrs. Ong Socheath took her bachelor degree in Agronomy in Science at Royal University of Agriculture (RUA). After her graduation in 2010, she worked as a University researcher at the Faculty of Agronomy, RUA. Her master degree is in Plant Pathology with minor in Entomology at University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). (Click here for slide presentation 3.5 MB)
The lecture shared about the definition of virus, how to name the virus, the reason the virus spread and the process of spreading, and overview of tomato leaf curl virus.
